9th Day of Clinical Research, Poster- and Oralpresentations, Location: University Hospital, Grosser und Kleiner Hörsaal Ost, Dick und Davy

  • 9th Day of Clinical Research

    April 8, 2010 – April 8, 2010

18th International Symposium on ADP-ribosylation

On behalf of the organisation committee, I cordially welcome you to the 18th International Conference on ADP-ribose metabolism with special focus on proteins of the poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase (PARP) family. The conference offers an interdisciplinary platform for experts and professionals from all over the world to learn about the latest unique scientific progresses and current experimental standards in PARP research, as well as to hear about the recent updates on very promising clinical trials with PARP inhibitors. The conference with the theme “PARP2010” will be held in Zurich, Switzerland during August 18-21, 2010.

The aim of the congress is to provide a high-quality program designed to attract young and experienced scientist and experts. The program will cover molecular and cellular topics of proteins involved in mono- and poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation and will include following topics:

- Biology of PARPs (PARP1, 2, 3, vPARP and Tankyrases)

- Biology of MARTs (PARPs10, ARTs and SIRTs)

- NAD metabolites and signalling

- Biology of glycohydrolases (PARG and ARH)

- PARP/PARG inhibitors and clinical trials

Keynote lectures will be given by Dr. David Sinclair (Harvard Medical School, USA; on sirtuins and NAD) and Dr. Geneniève Almouzni (Institut Curie, France; on nuclear dynamics and genome plasticity)
